Mertins led the team and placed second out of 44 players in Saturday’s traditional games to help the No. 21 Warhawks finish second with a 7-3 record over the weekend at the Warhawk Classic in Fort Atkinson. She totaled a 978 over five traditional games, good for a 195.6 average, and tallied an 82 percent fill percentage, a 38 percent strike percentage and a perfect 100 percent (26-of-26) single-pin conversion rate. Following the conclusion of play, Mertins was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
