Meylor helped the UW-Whitewater football team finish with a 13-2 record, win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship and reach the Stagg Bowl (NCAA Division III national championship game) in 2019, his first year with the program. He finished the season with 1,171 passing yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 280 yards and four scores. Meylor's 38-yard touchdown run keyed the Warhawks' thrilling 35-32 victory over St. John's (Minn.) in the national semifinal game. He added a strong performance in the Stagg Bowl, recording 104 yards rushing, 183 yards passing and one passing touchdown against North Central (Ill.). Meylor was named the team's Newcomer of the Year and was a member of the 2019-20 WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. He is majoring in occupational safety.
