Megan Humphreys (Kenosha/Tremper), Senior and Bridgid McGuire(Slinger/Slinger), Junior
Humphreys and McGuire combined to win the No. 1 doubles draw and help UW-Whitewater place first at the Warhawk Invitational on Saturday at Wangerin Courts. Humphreys and McGuire didn't surrender more than two games in any set in victories over Hannah Peters and Samantha Koppa of UW-Oshkosh, Alaina Bublitz and Lauren Weise of UW-La Crosse and Angelica Emmanouil and Max Mella of Carthage. On Friday against UW-Eau Claire, the duo defeated Sarah Henderson and Natalie Wijesinghe by an 8-1 score at No. 1 doubles to help the Warhawks to a 9-0 triumph.
