Stringer tied for second in the shot put, led all Division III competitors and finished third out of 25 in the discus throw and placed fifth out of 21 in the hammer throw to help the Warhawks to a third-place finish at the 11-team, outdoor season-opening Viking Olympics at Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill. Her toss of 40-11.25 (12.47 meters) in the shot put is fourth in the WIAC, while her mark of 145-11 (44.49 meters) leads the conference and is tied for fifth in NCAA Division III. Stringer's hammer throw of 152-03 (46.40 meters) is third in the WIAC.
