Prestifilippo competed for the Warhawk women's track and field team during the 2017, 2018 and 2020 seasons. She was a part of two distance medley relays that finished among the top six at WIAC Indoor Championships, including the fourth-place squad in 2020, and placed as high as ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the conference outdoor meet. Prestifilippo registered a personal record time in the 1-mile run (5:24.05) in her final race of the 2020 season. She was named a UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete for 2019-20 and was a two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. Prestifilippo, also a member of the UW-Whitewater women's cross country team, graduated with a degree in journalism in May.
