Masters is a seven-time WIAC top-eight placer, including six times in relays. In 2018, he qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the 4x400-meter relay, finishing 14th at the national meet. Masters recorded a career-best time of 49.44 seconds in the 400-meter dash and a personal-record time of 22.51 seconds in the 200-meter dash. A two-year captain, Masters graduated with a degree in chemistry earlier this month.
