Fossum became a three-time All-American for the Warhawk gymnastics team last month, earning the honor from the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association after finishing third in the West Region and tied for seventh in Division III on uneven bars with a 9.6000 season average score. Her performance on bars also helped her garner All-Championship Team accolades from the NCGA. Fossum helped the Warhawks claim their 14th consecutive bid to the NCGA Championship with scores of 9.525 on floor exercise and 9.275 on bars at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship/NCGA West Regional on March 7. UW-Whitewater's was unable to try for a sixth NCGA team title as the national meet was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fossum, a 2019-20 NCGA All-American in Academics and a two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll, is majoring in environmental science with an emphasis in geosciences, and will receive her GIS certificate.
