Brown reached 1,000 career points and averaged 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor and 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from 3-point range last week to help the No. 23 Warhawks split a pair of games. He tallied 18 points, including 14 in the second half, on Wednesday against No. 5 UW-Oshkosh, and became the 29th player in UW-Whitewater program history to reach the 1,000-point milestone with his fourth point, a jumper in the first half. Three days later, Brown registered 24 points, including a key 3-pointer with 1:08 remaining, to help the Warhawks to an 87-85 triumph at UW-River Falls. He added four rebounds, four assists and three steals in the win.
