Rice, who is ranked 10th in the nation by D3wrestle.com, tallied a 5-0 record, including one pin, one technical fall and one major decision. In the final, he topped No. 2 ranked Clint Lembeck of Loras, the third-place finisher at the 2019 NCAA Championship, by sudden victory. Rice started his week Wednesday with a 6-0 decision over Chase Katzenmeyer to help the sixth-ranked Warhawks improve to 2-0 in the WIAC. For the season, he owns an 8-0 record.
