Gray finished 3-0 in singles over the weekend as the Warhawks opened the 2019 spring season at Lake Geneva Tennis in Lake Geneva. He opened the stretch Saturday morning with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph at No. 3 over Greg Schwoeppe to help UW-Whitewater to a 9-0 victory over Millikin (Ill.). Later that afternoon, Gray topped Yousef Abdo 7-5, 6-0 at the third position in the Warhawks' 8-1 win over Illinois Tech. On Sunday, he didn't drop a game in his 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Jordon O'Kelly of No. 37 Carleton, which edged UW-Whitewater 5-4. Gray improved his season record to 6-3 with his performance.
