David Fassbender (Slinger, Wis./Slinger), Sophomore
Fassbender topped a 74-runner field in the men's 8-kilometer race to help the Warhawks to a second-place finish at the Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday at the UW-Whitewater Cross Country Trails. He posted a winning time of 26:36.7, more than 35 seconds faster than the runner-up and nearly 45 seconds better than his time at the same meet last season.
