Doud batted .522 (12-for-23) with two doubles, four home runs and 15 runs batted in with a 1.130 slugging percentage to help the second-ranked Warhawks to a 5-1 record last week. He finished 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI on Monday in the team’s 13-1 triumph over St. Scholastica. One day later, Doud enjoyed another strong offensive performance, posting three hits, one home run, two runs scored and seven RBI in UW-Whitewater’s 22-8 victory over St. Norbert. He recorded at least one hit in each game to help the Warhawks take three of four games from UW-Stevens Point over the weekend, mashing his fourth homer of the week in a 2-for-5 performance in Friday’s second game against the Pointers.
