Niestrom totaled 200 assists, good for an average of 12.5 assists per set, contributed three double-doubles and helped the team hit .268 in four matches last week to help the No. 9 Warhawks finish with a 4-0 record, including two WIAC victories and a four-set triumph at No. 7 Northwestern (Minn.). She started the week with a 33-assist, six-dig, three-kill performance in UW-Whitewater's 3-0 win over UW-Platteville on Tuesday. Three days later, Niestrom collected a career-high 67 assists and added 11 digs and one block for a double-double in the team's 3-2, comeback win at UW-Stout. Against Northwestern on Saturday, she totaled 51 assists and 13 digs for a second consecutive double-double and added a career-high seven kills in a top 10 showdown. Later that day, Niestrom posted 49 assists and 10 digs to go along with one kill and one block as the team hit .331 in a 3-1 triumph over St. Mary's (Minn.).
