Genny Rose Stringer (Assumption, Ill./Assumption), Junior
Stringer bested 44 other competitors in the discus throw and placed fifth in the shot put to help UW-Whitewater finish second at the 12-team Augustana (Ill.) Meet of Champions on Friday night. Her toss of 154-10 (47.20 meters) in the discus currently ranks No. 1 in the WIAC and No. 4 in NCAA Division III.
