Maurquis Turner (Milwaukee, Wis./King), Freshman, Guard
Turner led the Warhawks in both scoring (12.0 points per game) and rebounding (7.5 rebounds per game) in two games last week. He helped UW-Whitewater clinch a berth in the WIAC Tournament Wednesday with career highs of 12 points, eight rebounds and two assists in a 70-61 victory over UW-Oshkosh. Three days later at UW-Eau Claire, Turner hit four 3-pointers en route to matching his career high of 12 points and added seven rebounds.
