Celeste Madda (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central), Freshman
Making her UW-Whitewater debut, Madda placed third in both the 60- and 200-meter dashes Saturday to help the Warhawks finish third at the season-opening Karl Schlender Invitational at Kachel Fieldhouse. Her time of 26.39 in the 200-meter dash is the WIAC's top mark and the No. 19 result in NCAA Division III. Madda outpaced three Division I runners in the finals of the 60-meter dash, posting a time of 8.05, good for third in the conference.
