Assistant Coach

Kurt Mussey is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the UWW Softball program. Mussey spends a lot of his time working with and developing the Warhawk hitters.

Prior to coming to UWW, Mussey coached travel ball for 14 years. In addition, he coached at Milton High School (WI) for 10 years, including 5 years as the head coach. During that span, Mussey’s teams earned two conference championships, five regional championships, two sectional championships, and two state appearances.

In 2024, Milton finished the season as the Division 1 State Runner Up. They advanced to the championship game by upsetting the top-ranked Kaukauna Ghosts, breaking their historic 108 game winning streak and stopping their run at four straight state titles.
