"Z" graduated in 2005 with a bachelors degree in Political Science.  He had a stellar career for the Warhawks, qualifying for the NCAA Division III Tournament twice.  He was also named as a NCAA Scholar All American during his career.  His duties include coordination of summer wrestling camps, weight room programming and supervision, and upper weight class conditioning. 

"Z" is another very serious athlete.  He is involved in everything and usually has success in anything he tries.  I like his aggressive attitude towards competing and his loyalty to this program---he will always be a Warhawk.  He finished second in the state benchpress competition this summer with a lift of 515lbs (he weighs 210).  He was the National Champion in Beach wrestling and second in Sambo wrestling.  He finished 8th in the Greco Roman US Nationals last April and is currently trying to move up the ladder in Greco.  He won a world Championship in Sambo in Turkey in October, 2006 and is involved in all types of grappling.  At his age, he could still be a serious competitor in any of these wrestling styles.  Our program is lucky to have him involved and we will support his efforts to continue competing in wrestling. I challenge the wrestlers to work harder than Z and the entire coaching staff?if they can, we will be in good shape".
