Anthony Edgren enters his sixth season as an assistant coach for the UW-Whitewater wrestling team in 2022-23.
Edgren competed for the Warhawks from 2010-15. He earned three trips to the NCAA Division III Championships at 285 pounds, garnering two All-America accolades with finishes of fifth in 2013 and seventh in 2015.
Edgren was the 2015 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion and a two-time All-WIAC honoree. He finished among the top two in the Midwest Region three times, including the 2013 title in the weight class. Edgren finished his career with 105 wins.
After completing his athletic eligibility, Edgren worked for Lakeshore (event management company) and Lad Lake (out-of-home care).
Edgren is working toward a bachelor's in communication from UW-Whitewater.
