Grace Nys joined the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Sports Medicine staff in the summer of 2025. Her primary duties for the 2025-26 school year include: Tennis, Gymnastics, and Track & Field.
Nys comes to UW-Whitewater from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. As a Phoenix, Nys assisted the women's volleyball and softball teams as their athletic trainer.Â
Nys attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Pre-Athletic Training and a minor in Music. Nys also earned her master's degree in Athletic Training at UW-Stevens Point. While obtaining her master's degree, Nys worked with the Football, Men's Basketball, Track & Field, Men's Hockey, and Wrestling teams. She also did research & presented a CASE study on Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis.
Nys has certifications from CITI, Safe Sport, & SAFE Zone. She is also a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association.Â
