Matthew Hurley joins the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's tennis coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant in the Fall of 2026.
Hurley graduated from Methodist University, a Division III institution out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he was also a four-year collegiate tennis player for the Monarchs. During his time there, Hurley collected four First Team All-Conference accolades, USA South Rookie of the Year (2023), and USA South Player of the Year (2025). Hurley was named the Athlete of the Year by Methodist in 2026.
Originally from Faulconbridge, New South Wales, Australia, Hurley holds a degree in Sports Management with a Concentration in Professional Tennis Management from Methodist University. Hurley is pursuing his Master's in Business Adminstration during his time at UW-Whitewater.
