Daniel Bickett

The 2012-2013 season will mark Coach Bickett’s seventh season as a player and coach at UW-Whitewater. Bickett was a member of the Warhawk men’s tennis team for the 2006-2007 season. The following season Bickett was hired as the Assistant Coach for the men’s and women’s teams and was promoted to Assistant Head Coach in the summer of 2012. Bickett has also served as the men’s and women’s Recruiting coordinator since 2010.
 
In 2010 the Intercollegiate Tennis Association honored Coach Bickett as the Division III National Assistant Coach of the year for his outstanding work with the UW-Whitewater women’s team. In 2013, he was also honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as the Division III Central Region Assistant Men's Coach of the Year with is commitment to the men's program.  

 Bickett has been a certified tennis professional through the United States Professional Tennis Association since 2008.
 
Bickett has worked many jobs in the tennis industry all over the country including serving as Head Racquets Pro at Exmoor Country Club in Highland Park, Illinois and Ivanhoe Country Club in Mundelein, Illinois. Bickett has served as a tennis professional at College Park Athletic Club in Bannockburn, Illinois, Westmoreland Country Club in Wilmette, Illinois, and Copperfield Racquet and Health Club in Houston, Texas. While studying for his bachelor’s at Whitewater Bickett served as the head boys’ varsity coach at Madison West High School for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
 
Coach Bickett has been certified as a Master Racquet Technician by the United States Racquet Stringer’s Association since 2009 and performs all stringing services for both teams. Coach Bickett received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from UW-Whitewater in 2010, and received his master’s degree in Health, Human Performance and Recreation from UW-Whitewater in 2012.
