Katie Engler enters her second year as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater golf team in 2018-19.
Engler graduated in 2015 with a bachelor's in business management from UW-Eau Claire, where she was a two-time All-American as a four-year letter winner for the women's golf team. She was also a three-time Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Central Region selection and three-time All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honoree, and was named WIAC Player of the Year in 2014.
During her collegiate playing career, Engler won five tournaments, including back-to-back WIAC championships in 2013 and 2014. She helped lead the Blugolds to two NCAA Championship appearances.
A Beloit native, Engler currently works at the Beloit Club as a marketing specialist.
