Chelsea Davis has been the Assistant Coach of the UW-W Women’s Golf Team since 2010. A graduate of UW-Whitewater with a degree in International Business, she was a four-year athlete on the golf team from 2006-2010 and was selected to captain the squad during her senior season. Throughout her collegiate golf career, Davis achieved First Team All-WIAC Conference status twice, was named to the NGCA All-Region Team in 2009 & 2010, and earned medalist honors on four separate occasions, including back-to-back victories at the 2009 & 2010 UW-Whitewater Invitational. She was also named a Chancellor Scholar Athlete in 2010.
As an incoming freshman, Davis had virtually no experience playing competitive golf; however, with a desire to improve and a commitment to practice, she quickly learned how to manage her game and give herself an opportunity to compete at a high level each weekend. As a result, she understands the necessary adjustments players need to make regardless of their experience or level of play leading up to college level competition
