Hannah Kalk enters her first year as a graduate assistant coach for the UW-Whitewater women’s basketball team in 2021-22.
Kalk returns to the Warhawks after serving as a student manager during the 2020-21 year. She was responsible for preparation of facilities for practices, management of the clock and scoreboard during practices, and filming of practices and games. Kalk also coached the Junior Varsity 2 team at Whitewater High School during that time.
Kalk worked as a coach and administrator for the Midwest Wildcats basketball program in Rockford. She worked closely in planning and organization for team trips and tournaments, coordination of tryouts, and player development and assessment.
Kalk graduated from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor’s in marketing with emphasis in experiential and sports marketing in December of 2020. She is currently pursuing a master’s in higher education/professional development with emphasis in athletic administration.
