Earl Peterson

Earl Peterson began coaching with the track and field staff at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2008. He has worked for University of Wisconsin-Whitewater since 2007 as the Athletics Operations Assistant.
 
As an athlete at UW-Whitewater for three years, Peterson earned All-WIAC honors six times while competing in High Jump and the Decathlon. He also earned All-WIAC Academic honor three times.
 
Peterson has had success coaching, while coaching high school, his athletes set nine school records, qualified for state eighteen times with seven of them placing at state and one state champion. In his brief college career he has already coached one school record holder (Pentathlon), three national qualifiers, one All-American, and five All-WIAC athletes.
 
Peterson has earned two degrees in Health, Human Performance and Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
