In 2006, the men have finished among the top twenty in the national meet twelve consecutive times, including seven top ten finishes.

All-American honors have been earned 50 times by athletes under his direction. In addition, six Warhawks won their events a the WIAC Outdoor conference, in which five of them were crowned 2006 WIAC Champions. Schneider was named by his peers WIAC Men's Coach of the Year in 2002. "We are very excited about the progress of our men's program. We feel that we have positioned ourselves as an elite program nationally. We look forward to experiencing the same success in the very near future with our women's program," states Schneider.
