Study Tables and Tutor Services
Study tables for each varsity sport are on Monday and Tuesday nights from 7-10 p.m. in Hyland Hall during both the fall and spring semesters.

Writing and math tutors are available to all student-athletes on Monday and Tuesday evenings during study tables, thanks to a partnership with
Campus Tutorial Services.
Learning Communities (First-Year Experience)
As part of the Freshmen Warhawk Leadership Academy experience, student-athletes can participate in learning communities. Learning communities are academic, credit-based opportunities where first-year student-athletes complete a sequence of courses together in a cohort. Students can earn 5-8 undergraduate credits for completing this year-long experience, which includes:
- New Student Seminar Fall (1 credit)
- Experiential Learning Seminar Spring (1 credit)
- General Education courses by theme (3-6 credits)
Learning Community Descriptions
Rising Warhawks Learning Community (Residential Live-In)
- This community focuses on helping individuals transition to college and identify strategies to balance life as a student-athlete. Students will be introduced to educational opportunities and resources to promote awareness of and engagement with campus resources and support systems. Students in this Learning Community will take coursework together for their first year and live in Wells East.
Powered By Tradition Learning Community (Residential Live-In)
- This learning community assists student-athletes with the transition to college and their new dual identity as a Warhawk student and athlete. Students in this Learning Community will take coursework together for their first year, but will not live together in a residence hall.
Leaders in Action Learning Community (Residential Live-In)
- The Leaders in Action learning community focuses on the development of self-leadership skills. This community brings together student-athletes who have demonstrated high academic potential and who express a clear commitment to academic excellence during college. Students in this Learning Community will take coursework together for the first year and live in Wells East.
