Meet of Champions on April 20 … placed 16th in the 10,000-meter run at the WIAC Outdoor Championships on May 3-4 … Indoor – season-best mark of 5:04.91 in the 1-mile run at the Karl Schlender Inviatational on Jan. 19 … season-best result of 9:18.35 in the 3,000-meter run at the WIAC Quad on Feb. 9 … season-best time of 16:24.08 in the 5,000-meter run at the North Central Cardinal Classic on Feb. 15

Personal: Ran cross country and track and field at Wheaton Warrenville South High School, where he earned all-conference in cross country, all regional in cross country, team MVP his senior year, and a state qualifier his senior year … career ambition is physical education teacher along with coaching at the high school level … favorite professional sports team is the Chicago Bulls … favorite movie is “Shutter Island” … favorite TV show is “Breaking Bad” … chose to attend UW-Whitewater for the education program along with my teammates
