Offense: Tommy Novotny – Freshman – Running Back – Milwaukee, Wis./Marquette
 

Tommy Novotny had the major workload in the Warhawks' run game in Saturday's win over St. Xavier. The freshman averaged 8.0 yards per carry with 120 yards on 15 attempts. Early in the second quarter, Novtony took the handoff and was bottled up on the right side of the line before cutting back to the middle and making defenders miss up the left side of the field for a 61-yard touchdown run.

Defense: AJ Johnson – Defensive Back – Freshman – Milwaukee, Wis./Marquette

AJ Johnson helped bolster the Warhawk defense in UWW's win over St. Xavier Saturday. The freshman defensive back registered three tackles and recorded his first collegiate interception, returning the pick for 31 yards. 

Special Teams: Joseph Ware, Jr. – Freshman – Tight End – Oshkosh, Wis.

Joseph Ware Jr. bolstered UWW's special teams play in Saturday's win over St. Xavier. He was credited with two tackles, both on kickoffs. 

Men's: Connor Murphy – Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls

Connor Murphy led the UW-Whitewater men's cross country team to a win at the Ken Weidt Classic Saturday. In his first time leading the Warhawk men in a race, Murphy crossed the line in 26:25 to finish second. 

Women: Abi Anderson – Sophomore – Janesville, Wis./Craig

Abi Anderson paced the UW-Whitewater women's cross country team to a first place finish at the Ken Weidt Classic Saturday. The sophomore put together a strong performance with a time of 23:43 to finish third and lead UWW to the title.

Offensive: Hayden Saul – Senior – Forward – Iowa City, Iowa/Liberty
 

Hayden Saul and the Warhawk offense routed Marian in their home opener 6-0. Saul scored the second goal of the game, finding the back of the net on a rebounded shot. Against Marian, the Warhawks outshot the Sabres 12-0 and had a 14-3 advantage on corners. The next day the Warhawks face the 13th-ranked Macalester Scots, holding them to a 0-0 tie. Saul had one shot on goal, as UWW outshot Macalester 9-3 and had a 7-2 advantage in corners.
 

Defensive: Mason Diercks - Senior - Defender - Oregon, Wis./Oregon
 

Mason Diercks led the Warhawks to two shut-outs this past week on the defensive line. Against Marian on Saturday, Diercks and the Warhawk defense did not allow a single shot on goal, and only gave up three corner kicks, all in the first half. The next day, Diercks played in all 90-minutes against the 13th-ranked Macalester Scots. The Scots only had three shots on goal, all coming in the second half, as the Warhawk defense shut-out the Scots.

Offensive: Genevieve Simkowski – Sophomore – Forward – Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest

Genevieve Simkowski recorded a goal and assist for the Warhawks over the past week. Against Carthage, Simkowski scored the Warhawks' second goal of the night in 72nd-minute. With that goal, Simkowski reached the 10-point mark on the season with only three games played. In UWW's home-opener against Grinnell, Simkowski recorded an assist on the eventual game-winning goal as the Warhawks defeated Grinnell 2-0.  

Defensive: Rachel Cvikel – Junior – Franklin, Wis./Saint Thomas More

Rachel Cvikel made appearances in both games for the Warhawks this past week. Coming off the bench, Cvikel made an impact on the defensive end. In the Warhawks' home-opener, Cvikel played 48-minutes, helping the the Warhawk defense hold Grinnell to just two total shots with only one on goal.

Singles: Abigail Weaver – Junior – Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian

Abigail Weaver helped the Warhawk tennis team open up WIAC-play 2-0 with two wins at the top singles flight. On Sunday morning, Weaver defeated Murphy from UW-Stout without dropping a game in the straight set win. Later in the day against UW-River Falls top singles, Weaver went on to a 6-1, 6-1 victory. 

Singles: Abigail Weaver – Junior – Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawak Marian & Ava Andrae – Sophomore – Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg

Abigail Weaver and Ava Andrae helped the Warhawks open up their 2026 Conference season 2-0 with two wins over UW-Stout Polytechnic and UW-River Falls on Sunday. Weaver & Andrae opened the day with a 6-1 victory of the Blue Devils top doubles pair. Later in the day, the Warhawk pair won their second match 6-2 over the Falcons top doubles pair.

Offensive: Aubrie Krzus – Senior – Setter – Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South

Aubrie Krzus led the Warhawks to a pair of wins last week. The senior setter hit .286 with 12 kills in 28 attempts including a phenomenal offensive performance against Concordia Wisconsin with 8 kills in 13 attempts without an attack error. She registered 59 assists across the six sets played. Krzus was also a force at the net defensively with eight blocks. For the week, Krzus averaged 9.83 assists, 2.00 kills and 1.33 blocks per set. 

Defensive: Abbie Dix – Senior – Middle Hitter – Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead

Abbie Dix led UW-Whitewater to a pair of wins last week. The league's top blocker registered 13 blocks in six sets - an average of 2.17 per set. She added 20 kills while hitting .421 on the week - an average of 3.33 per set. Overall, Dix averaged 4.75 points per set for the Warhawks.
