Warhawk Softball Earns Academic Honors from NFCA

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater softball team compiled a cumulative team grade point average of 3.69 during the 2025-26 academic year. That mark is tied for 21st among all NCAA Division III softball programs that are members of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and is the top team GPA amongst WIAC institutions. 

Individually, 20 Warhawks were recognized for their success in the classroom last season with Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors including Paige Abendroth (Pulaski, Wis./Pulaski), Baley Berndt (Wausau, Wis./East), Madi DeBennette (Wadsworth, Ill./Carmel Catholic), Bella Eggert (Carol Stream, Ill./Glenbard North), Emma Giese (Kenosha, Wis./Indian Trail), Erin Grimsley (Itasca, Ill./Montini Catholic), Josie Hammen (Combined Locks, Wis./Kimberly), Taylor Koehler (Wauconda, Ill./Wauconda), Belle Lapacek (Downers Grove, Ill./South), Aubrey Lepak (Lake Mills, Wis./Lake Mills), Kaitlyn Marsh (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West), Sierra Miller (Saukville, Wis./Port Washington), Natalie Muellner (Oswego, Ill./Oswego), Dani Peshia (Newark, Ill./Newark Community), Rachel Radish (Merton, Wis./Arrowhead), Auburn Roberson (South Elgin, Ill./St. Charles North), Ellery Stoltz (New Berlin, Wis./Eisenhower), Amanda Turofsky (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Adlai E.
