2025-26 HIGHLIGHTS

Women's Cross Country

  • Won the Tom Hoffmann Invitational for the third year in a row
  • Finished 3rd at the WIAC Championship with two women earning All-WIAC accolades (Katie Erb, 18th; Payton Scoggin, 20th)
    • Second-best finish in program history (top finish was second in 1990)
    • Second time in the last three seasons the women have finished third
  • Finished 6th at the NCAA Regional Meet for the second year in a row
    • Best finish in 25 years
  • Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors for the 15th consecutive year
    • Payton Scoggin and Abi Anderson earned USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic Honors

Men's Cross Country

  • Won the Tom Hoffmann Invitational for the sixth year in a row
  • Finished 4th at the WIAC Championship
    • Dan Anderson was the top UWW finisher with a career-best fourth for his first First Team All-WIAC honor
  • Finished 5th at the NCAA Regional Meet to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championship for the fifth straight season
    • Dan Anderson (8th) and Alex Metko (26th) both registered their highest finishes to earn All-Region honors
  • Finished 30th at the NCAA Championship
    • "It was a rough day in the heat of South Carolina, but getting to the meet again was the main focus, so we felt very good about our season."

Women's Indoor Track

  • Katie Erb finished 3rd in the mile at the WIAC Championship. She ran the second-fastest mile time in school history, 5:02.42, at a last chance meet
  • Emma Henningfeld placed 7th in the mile at the WIAC Championship. Her time of 5:10.98 is 10th on the UWW All-Time Mile List
     
  • New Top 10 All-Time Performers
    • Mile: Katie Erb - 2nd - 5:02.42
    • Mile: Emma Henningfeld - 10th - 5:10.98
    • 3000: Katie Erb - 3rd - 10:19.82
    • 3000: Abi Anderson - 9th - 10:31.81
    • 5000: Abi Anderson - 7th - 18:22.81
    • DMR: 5th - 12:13.81
      • Emma Henningfeld, Kiersten Dellar, Addi Kowalewski, Katie Erb

Women's Outdoor Track

  • Katie Erb finished 5th in the 1500 at the WIAC Championship
  • Abi Anderson did not place "but did the 10k/5k double which, for a freshman, we very seldom do. She placed 15th in the 5k and 12th in the 10k which was outstanding!"
     
  • New Top 10 All-Time Performers
    • 800: Katie Erb - 8th - 2:17.49
    • 1500: Katie Erb - 9th - 4:41.08
    • 1500: Emma Henningfeld - 10th - 4:43.94
    • 5000: Katie Erb - 4th - 17:37.49
    • 5000: Abi Anderson - 7th - 18:07.53
    • 5000: Ella Hansen - 10th - 18:18.15
    • 10,000: Abi Anderson - 4th - 38:17.31

Men's Indoor Track

  • Dan Anderson ran a personal best in the 5k, 14:22.77, at the Midwest Elite Meet to qualify for the NCAA Championship
    • Unfortunately, Dan got very sick and had to miss the conference championship. He tried to race at nationals but was unable to finish the race
  • WIAC Championship
    • DMR team of Colin Lewandowski, Ryan Bintz, James Belus and Matt Andreano finished 5th, 10:22.18
    • Other strong finishes:
      • Drew Davey - 9th in the 800
      • Jonah Block - 9th in the 3k
      • Tucker Johnson - 10th in the mile
      • Alex Metko - 11th in the 3k and 5k
         
  • New Top 10 All-Time Performers
    • 800: Drew Davey - 10th - 1:54.79
    • 5000: Dan Anderson - 6th - 14:22.77

Men's Outdoor Track

  • WIAC Championship
    • Dan Anderson, Alex Metko and Tucker Johnson displayed tremendous running tactics to go 3-4-8 in the 10,000 at the WIAC Championship. Dan ran a career-best 29:58.19 - only the fourth Warhawk in history to break the 30:00 minute mark in the 10k - a time that ranks fourth on the all-time list
      • Alex Metko ran a lifetime PR in the race, 30:22.01, for fourth place at the championship and sixth on the all-time 10k list
      • Tucker Johnson also ran a lifetime PR, 30:38.63, for eighth at the championship and ninth all-time
    • Matt Andreano podiumed for the first time at the WIAC Championship with a 7th place finish in the 1500, 3:55.84 - a lifetime best
    • Rhett Reuter finished 7th in the 800 at the conference championship with a time of 1:52.69. He ran a lifetime best in the prelim (1:52.40) to win his heat and qualify for the finals
    • Other strong finishes:
      • Drew Davey - 9th in the 800
      • Jonah Block - 9th in the steeple
      • Alex Metko - 9th in the 5000
    • At the first last chance meet after conference, Drew Davey ran a lifetime best 1:51.11 to tie for third in program history, but was just shy of qualifying for the national championship
       
  • New Top 10 All-Time Performers
    • 800: Drew Davey - 3rd - 1:51.11
    • Steeple: Jonah Block - 10th - 9:17.85
    • 10,000: Dan Anderson - 4th - 29:58.19
    • 10,000: Alex Metko - 6th - 30:22.01
    • 10,000: Tucker Johnson - 9th - 30:38.63
