The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team defeated Carthage 7-0 in a dual on Monday night. The Warhawks swept the doubles flights, then picked up six straight set wins in the singles matches.

In the doubles flights, no Warhawk pair dropped more than two games in the 6-game set. At the third flight, Molly Asfeld (Waukesha, Wis./West) and Alex Repplier (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) didn't drop a single game, winning their flight 6-0.

In the singles flights, multiple Warhawks had perfect 6-0 sets in their wins. Abigail Weaver (Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian) defended off her opponent at the top flight with a 7-5 first set, then clinched the match with a 6-0 second set. Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) only dropped one game over the two sets, winning 6-1, 6-0 at the second flight. Kaitlyn Remke (Johnsburg, Ill./Marian Central) went 6-0 in her first set, followed by a 6-2 second set to pick up the fifth singles flight. 

The Warhawks will face UChicago this Saturday at home in a double-header with the men's program. Both matches are set to begin at 12 PM in Whitewater.
