Nashville, Tenn. -- The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team finished 17th in the 2026 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University over the weekend.
The Warhawks were 18th in the field of 34 teams after the first day of competition in the tournament. UWW went 2-3 on Friday with a total pinfall of 4,702. On day two, UW-Whitewater accumulated a pinfall of 4,639 over the series of traditional games for a tournament total of 9,341.
Individually,
Zoey Darwin (Monona, Wis./Monona Grove) paced the Warhawks with an average of 198.20 across five games to place among the top 50. Her top game was a 232 on the day.
Jordyn Norvell (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Tremper) (189.20 average),
Ashley Bowe (Brillion, Wis./Brillion) (188.60 average), Elizabeth Vanderbilt (184.20 average) and
Emily Rusk (Greenfield, Wis./Greenfield) (167.60) also bowled all five for the Warhawks Saturday.
On bracket Sunday, UWW went 3-0 with wins over McKendree, Belmont Abbey and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore to move up two spots to 17th.
