The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team wrapped up its 2025 Fall Warhawk Fall Invite on Saturday. The singles brackets finished up, with one championship match still to be played at UWW's practice against two Warhawks.

Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) and Andrew Dumbauld (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) took the crown in their respective draws, going 3-0 through the tournament. Billson took to the top singles flight, winning his first match 6-0, 6-3. In the semifinal match, Billson played a very close match against his opponent from Olivet Nazarene. After winning the first set 7-5, Billson dropped the second 5-7, but a quick reset put Billson on top 10-0 in the tiebreaker.

Dumbauld advanced in straight sets for his first two matches. The senior dropped his first set in the championship match, 4-6, but bounced back to take the match in the tiebreaker set 10-7. 

Charles Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) and Chase Lindwall (Cottage Grove, Wis./Monona Grove) both finished second in their respective brackets. Morgan reached the finals with straight set victories, the championship match was a close one heading into the tiebreaker set. Morgan pushed it out, but fell 9-11 in the tiebreaker. 

Lindwall had an impressive first two rounds, dropping only two games in the four sets. His championship match also went into the tiebreaker, with another close battle at 7-10 final. 

The Warhawks are also guaranteed another champion, with the sixth single draw featuring both UWW athletes. Gavin Kelleher (Brooklyn, Minn./Champlin Park) and Lleyton Davidson (Allen, Tex./Allen) both reached the finals with straight-set first-rounds. The two will face off the claim the crown during an upcoming practice for UWW.
