The following University of Wisconsin-Whitewater athletes have been recognized by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of August 25 – 31

Weaver, Abigail

Women's Tennis - Singles

Abby Weaver -  Sophomore - Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawake Marian

Weaver started the 2025 season off strong, helping the Warhawks sweep their opening conference dual match and winning her individual bracket in the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Fall Invitational. In the conference match against UW-Oshkosh, she took the No. 2 singles flight 6-0, 6-3. At the Warhawk Fall Invitational, Weaver opened the day strong with a 6-0, 6-1 victory in her first match. In the semifinal, she only dropped three games in another straight set victory. Weaver took the gold after a close championship match. She claimed the first set 7-5 before cruising to a 6-1 win to stay undefeated on the weekend.

Krzus, Aubrie

Volleyball - Setter

Aubrie Krzus - Junior - Setter - Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South

Krzus led UW-Whitewater to a 3-0 week to open the 2025 campaign. In the team’s opener against No. 21-ranked Christopher Newport University (Va.), Krzus tallied 33 assists and added three aces to lead the Warhawks to the sweep. She followed with 45 assists against Coast Guard and 28 in a win over Catholic University (D.C.). Krzus dished out 10.60 assists per set, adding 1.30 kills per set and a total of five aces across three matches. She was named the Captains Classic MVP for her performance at the invitational.
