Whitewater, Wis. -- The UW-Whitewater men's cross country team swept the top three spots at the team's annual Tom Hoffman Invitational Saturday. 

Dan Anderson (Eau Claire, Wis./McDonell) led the way crossing the line in 25:54. Alex Metko (Brillion, Wis./) crossed the line in 26:09 followed by Connor Murphy (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./) seven seconds later for second and third respectively. Brandon Massman (Belvidere, Ill./North) claimed seventh with a clocking of 26:35 while Keegan Bratt (Waukesha, Wis./West) rounded out the top 10 finishers with a time of 26:49. 

Jonah Block (Whitefish Bay, Wis./) (27:06), Kody Wassman (Ormsby, Minn./Mountain Lake) (27:33), Andrew Beyer (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) (27:33), Matthew Andreano (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs) (27:33), Tommy Conklin (West Bend, Wis./East) (27:33), Nick Wendl (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) (27:40) and Avery Erickson (Barrington, Ill./) (27:44) all finished among the top 20 at the meet. 

Also representing UW-Whitewater in the meet that featured 62 runners were: Rhett Reuter (Darlington, Wis./Darlington) (27:46), Ryan Van Dam (Glen Ellen, Ill./Glenbard East) (27:50), Braylen Rennhack (Hartford, Wis./) (27:57), Ben Piontek (Green Bay, Wis./Preble) (28:02), Adrian Ahuatl (St. Charles, Ill./East) (28:26), James Belus (Oconomowoc, Wis./) (28:36), Jordan Loferski (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Hamilton) (28:38) and Felipe Wickler (Batavia, Ill./) (29:59). 

The Warhawks have a week off before heading to Colfax, Wisconsin for the Blue Gold Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire at Whitetail Golf Course on October 3.
