UWW Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week (Sept. 15th)

Football

Fowler, Jayden

Defensive: Jayden Fowler – Sophomore – Linebacker – Morton Grove, Ill./Niles Township West

Jayden Fowler hauled in his first career interception to help seal the Warhawks’ 37-0 win at Saint Xavier Saturday. The sophomore picked off the Cougar quarterback near midfield on SXU’s 3rd-and-13 early in the fourth quarter. His interception led to the final touchdown of the game on UWW’s ensuing drive. Fowler added four tackles including a tackle for a loss of six yards in the contest.

Adams, Seth

Special Teams: Seth Adams – Sophomore – Kicker – Utica, Ill./La Salle-Peru

Seth Adams remained perfect on the season with seven more place kicking attempts in the Warhawks’ 37-0 win over Saint Xavier. Adams drilled a career-long 52-yard field goal – the longest in the league this season – before adding a 33-yarder and a 34-yarder. He also hit all four of his point after attempts. For the season, Adams is 4-4 on field goals and 10-10 on extra points.

 

Seth Adams was also named DIII Kicker of the Week by the Fred Mitchell Association

 

Men's Soccer

Breslin, Luka

Offensive: Offensive: Luka Breslin — Sophomore — Forward — Dublin, Ireland/Terenure College

Luka Breslin added to the scoreboard in the Warhawks' Saturday contest against 7th-ranked Augsburg. Breslin snuck the ball in past the keeper and a defender off a corner kick opportunity. The sophomore broke Augsburg's six-game shut-out streak to begin the season.

Healy, Zeke

Defensive: Zeke Healy — Senior — Defender — Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago

Zeke Healy was a key part of the Warhawks' defense in their Saturday contest against 7th-ranked Augsburg University. Healy played 82 minutes in the contest, taking one shot on goal in the Warhawks attack. The senior defender led the Warhawks backline, as they didn't allow a single shot on goal from the Auggies in the second half of the game.

Women's Soccer

Osborn, Karina

Offensive: Karina Osborn — Freshman — Midfielder — Arena, Wis./River Valley

Karina Osborn scored her first collegiate goal in the Warhawks' win over Coe College on Saturday, September 13th. The freshman connected from almost 30 yards out, putting the ball perfectly in the top left of the net. Earlier in the week, Osborn also dished out her first collegiate assist against Carroll. Osborn drew a foul in the attacking zone and was able to find teammate Makenzie Toms on the following set piece for the goal.

Dobrinska, Jude

Defensive: Jude Dobrinska — Senior -- Goalkeeper — Milwaukee, Wis./Ronald Reagan College Prep

Jude Dobrinska grabbed her first shut-out of the season against Coe College on Saturday, September 13th. The senior made 7 saves over the 90 minutes, giving the Warhawks a 4-0 win. Earlier in the week, Dobrinska played a half against both Carroll and Carthage, making 3 saves and allowing just one goal over the two games.

Women's Tennis

Asfeld, Molly

Singles: Molly Asfeld — Senior — Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West

Molly Asfeld won both of her matches in the Warhawks' two conference duals this past weekend. Asfeld overcame a 4-6 first set loss, winning the second set 6-2 against UW-La Crosse on Saturday. The senior claimed the decisive third set 6-3 to start her weekend. Against UW-Eau Claire the next day, Asfeld won in straight sets (6-3, 6-3)

Weaver, Abigail
Gracie Ha 2026 WTEN

Doubles: Abigail Weaver — Sophomore — Wakarusa, Ind./Mishawaka Marian & Gracie Ha — Senior — Palatine, Ill./Fremd

Abigail Weaver and Gracie Ha went undefeated at the top doubles flight in the Warhawks' two conference dual matches this past weekend. The pair fended off match-point for multiple games, trailing 2-5 against UW-La Crosse before winning 5 straight games to take the match 7-5. The next day against UW-Eau Claire, Weaver and Ha cruised to a 6-0 victory at the number one doubles flight.

Volleyball

Krzus, Aubrie

Setter: Aubrie Krzus – Junior – Setter – Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South

Aubrie Krzus led UW-Whitewater to another 3-0 week on the court, capturing All-Tournament Team honors for the third straight invitational. The Warhawks swept Marian and Lakeland before topping St. Catherine 3-1 in an invite hosted by UW-Eau Claire. In the three matches, Krzus tallied 116 assists, including 47 in the four-setter. Offensively, she added 20 kills on an attack percentage of .485 while posting 6 blocks defensively. For the week, she averaged 11.60 assists, 2.00 kills and 0.60 blocks per set. Now ten matches into the season, Krzus leads the WIAC by nearly three assists per set.

Dix, Abbie

Offense: Abbie Dix – Junior – Middle Hitter – Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead

Abbie Dix had a phenomenal weekend at an invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire that led to All-Tournament Team recognition. She notched a career-high 20 kills in the final match of the invite, hitting .600 against St. Catherine University. The league’s most efficient hitter and top blocker hit .491 for the week averaging 3.67 kills per set while adding 10 blocks, an average of 1.11 per set. She is currently ranked among the top 20 nationally in both categories.

Lawton, Natalie

Defense: Natalie Lawton – Freshman – Defensive Specialist – Elmhurst, Ill./IC Catholic Prep

Natalie Lawton bolstered the Warhawk defense in three wins on the court last week. The libero averaged 5.30 digs per set including a 23-dig performance against St. Catherine at an invite hosted by UW-Eau Claire. In serve-receive, Lawton had a single reception error in 33 attempts while adding an ace in ten sets played.
