Warhawk Women's Tennis Earn ITA All-Academic Team Award; 11 individuals recognized

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Women's Tennis Team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team. Individually, the Warhawks had 11 selections to the ITA Scholat Athlete list. To earn team regonition, the grade poitn average of the team must be a 3.20 or above. 

"The Intercollegiate Tennis Association ("ITA") is proud to announce the 2025 Division III Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams. Academia is an integral aspect of the college tennis experience and adds to the unique student-athlete experience found on college campuses across the nation.

Within the sport of tennis, student-athletes continue to exceed expectations in the classroom and on the court. In 2025, 1,269 Division III woen's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 165 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction."

Student-Athletes above a 3.50 for the current academic year earn the Scholar Athlete recognition. Warhawk women's tennis individuals selected; Ashley Adkisson (Licolnshire, Ill./Stevensen), Abby Aitken (Sterling, Ill./), Ava Andrae (Cedarburg, Wis./), Molly Asfeld (Waukesha, Wis./West), Priyanka Bhogaraju (Barrington, Ill./Elgin Academy), Sarah Ferguson (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek), Megan Griswold (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc), Abigail McIsaac (Fairview Heights, Ill./Southwestern Illinois College), Cassandra Lee, Sara Sowinski (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) and Abby Weaver.
