The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team fell to Gustavus Adolphus  in the regional semifinal, 4-2. The Warhawks took the doubles point, but it was the Gusties in the singles to secure the match. 

The Warhawks met with the Gusties last year in the regional semifinal, with UWW winning 5-4. This time it was the Gusties to take the match to reach the regional championship match.

The Warhawks took the first point of the match,  winning two out of the three doubles flights. Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) & Reuben Giorgio (Perth, Western Australia/Applecross) won 6-4 at the first flight, while Will Ulrich (Lincoln, Neb./Pius X) & Drew Van Fossen (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) took flight three 6-4. 

Moving to singles, Gustavus evened the match with a win at No. 3 singles. The Warhawks grabbed their own single match, with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles by Van Fossen.

Gustavus closed the match taking the fifth & sixth point to head to the regional final. The Gusties will take on University of Chicago.
