Metko, Alex

Men’s Cross Country: Alex Metko – Senior – Brillion, Wis./Brillion

Alex Metko posted a time of 25:33 – his top time of 2025 – to finish 20th at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational Friday.

Brown, Nicole

Women’s Cross Country: Nicole Brown – Junior – Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake

Nicole Brown registered her top time of the season at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational Friday. Brown crossed the line in 24:26.

Football

Ramirez, Efrein

Defensive: Efrein Ramirez – Sophomore – Defensive Back – Minooka, Ill./Minooka

Efrein Ramirez registered a career-high and game-high 15 tackles in UW-Whitewater’s top 10 matchup against UW-La Crosse Saturday. In the second quarter, Ramirez tallied tackles on three consecutive plays to force a three-and-out for the Eagle offense. The Warhawks scored on the ensuing drive to take a 17-0 lead into halftime.

Men's Soccer

Glancey, Aidan

Offensive: Aidan Glancey – Junior – Forward – Milwaukee, Wis./Whitnall

Aidan Glancey scored the Warhawks’ game-winning goal in their conference opener against UW-Stevens Point on Saturday. He also tallied UWW’s first goal of the game against Loras earlier in the week. Glancey finished the week with two goals on two shots on goal.

Waite, Austin

Defensive: Austin Waite – Freshman – Goalkeeper – Naperville, Ill./Naperville

Austin Waite secured the shutout to help give UW-Whitewater a conference win over UW-Stevens Point Saturday. Waite made four saves in the contest to register his second clean sheet of the season.

Women's Soccer

Carlson, Brooklynn

Offensive: Brooklynn Carlson – Sophomore – Forward – Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central

Brooklyn Carlson scored the Warhawks' lone goal in their conference opener against UW-River Falls. The sophomore tallied her third goal of the season to tie the game in the first half. 

Gunderson, Anna

Defensive: Anna Gunderson – Junior – Defender – Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago
 

Anna Gunderson played 162 minutes in the Warhawks two games this past week on the backline. Gunderson played the full 90-minutes in the conference opener against UW-River Falls. In the match against 19th-ranked Loras College, Gunderson and the defense held the Duhawks to just five shots on goal. 
 

Women's Tennis

Knutson, Chloe

Singles: Chloe Knutson – Freshman - DeForest, Wis./DeForest

Chloe Knutson won her draw at the Warhawk Fall Invite over the weekend. In the opening round, she blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 followed by another straight set victory in the semifinals. In that win, Knutson dropped just three games. The freshman secured the draw with a 6-3, 7-5 win over fellow Warhawk Josie Wojcikiewicz in the championship.

Remke, Kaitlyn

Doubles: Josie Wojcikiewicz – Freshman – Highland, Ill./Highland & Kaitlyn Remke – Freshman – Johnsburg, Ill./Marian Central

Josie Wojcikiewicz and Kaitlyn Remke took their doubles draw at the Warhawk Invite last weekend. In the opening round, the pair only lost one game in the six-set match. The semifinal was a close battle with the Warhawks advancing on a tiebreaker. The Warhawk duo won the championship with a 6-2 victory over another doubles pair from UW-Whitewater.

Volleyball

Krzus, Aubrie

Setter: Aubrie Krzus – Junior – Setter – Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South

Aubrie Krzus led UW-Whitewater to a pair of wins last week. The junior opened the week with 34 assists as the Warhawk offense hit .314 in a four-set win over UW-La Crosse. She hit .417 with seven kills in the contest. Krzus closed the week with a 10-kill performance in a sweep of UChicago. Krzus hit .643 with just a single error while dishing out 27 assists and adding an ace in the win. She posted three blocks in each match. For the week, Krzus averaged 8.71 assists, 2.43 kills with an attack percentage of .538, 0.86 blocks and 3.00 points per set.

DiMotto, Gaby

Offense: Gaby DiMotto – Freshman – Outside Hitter – New Berlin, Wis./West

Gaby DiMotto paced the Warhawk offense in a four-set win over UW-La Crosse last week. The freshman outside hammered down 17 kills, hitting .361 against the Eagles. She added an ace and a block in the contest. DiMotto wrapped up the week with six kills, four aces and three blocks in a sweep of the University of Chicago. For the week, DiMotto averaged 3.29 kills and 4.29 points per set.

Lawton, Natalie

Defense: Natalie Lawton – Freshman – Libero – Elmhurst, Ill./IC Catholic Prep

Natalie Lawton registered a pair of 20-dig performances in the Warhawks’ two wins last week. The freshman opened the week with a 21-dig outing in UWW’s four-set win over UW-La Crosse. She added 20 digs in a sweep over the University of Chicago on Saturday. For the week, Lawton averaged 5.86 digs per set and added a reception percentage of .972 – with a single receiving error in 36 chances.
