The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team took down Hamline 190.250-185.050 Sunday - the team's second road dual win in three days.
Ava Pesch (Waterford, Wis./Waterford Union) led UWW with the top score on the day. Her 9.775 on the vault ties for fourteenth-best in program history and was tops at the meet.
Elena Bailey (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge Senior) finished second on the apparatus with a score of 9.65.
Tegan Haberstock (Alberta, Canada/National Sport School) tied for fourth with a score of 9.475 followed by
Carleigh Moore's (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) score of 9.425.
Chloe Hammond (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny) rounded out the Warhawks' scoring five with a 9.3.Â
UW-Whitewater swept the top six spots on the uneven bars.
Kelsey Kollhoff (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg) paced the Warhawks with a 9.7 followed by
Hayden Gough (Dallas, Texas/Dallas International School) (9.55),
Carley Scott (Oak Grove, Mo./Grain Valley) (9.525), Pesch (9.45) and
Gracie Talley (Collierville, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian) (9.35).Â
Hammond bolstered UWW on the balance beam with a 9.575 to tie for second.
Paige Magel (Cary, Ill./Prairie Ridge) registered a score of 9.475 to finish fifth. Haberstock added a 9.45 while
Sarah Knetzke (Ozark, Mo./Springfield Catholic) scored 9.375.
Ashnaya Gupta (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) wrapped up the scoring five with a score of 9.025.Â
Danielle Dudziak (Lorain, Ohio/Amherst Steele) posted the best floor score at the meet - 9.725 - while Bailey claimed bronze with a 9.625. Haberstock, Knetzke and Gupta each scored a 9.6 as UWW posted a team total of 48.150 in the event.Â
