The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team fell to UW-Oshkosh 191.225-190.925 in a dual meet Friday night in Oshkosh.
The Warhawks opened the night on the uneven bars.
Kelsey Kollhoff (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg) paced UWW with a score of 9.675 to finish as the runner-up in the event.
Paige Magel's (Cary, Ill./Prairie Ridge) routine scored 9.625 to tie for third.
Ava Pesch (Waterford, Wis./Waterford Union) added a 9.5 to finish sixth while
Carley Scott (Oak Grove, Mo./Grain Valley) (9.4) and
Danielle Dudziak (Lorain, Ohio/Amherst Steele) (9.25) rounded out the scoring five.
On the vault,
Chloe Hammond (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny) led the way with a 9.65 to claim bronze in the event. Dudziak scored a 9.6 to tie for fourth followed by Pesch and
Carleigh Moore's (Oregon, Wis./Oregon) matching 9.575s.
Tegan Haberstock (Alberta, Canada/National Sport School) added a 9.35 to the team total.
Kollhoff was phenomenal on the floor. Her 9.85 was tops at the meet and ties for the third-highest score on the floor exercise in program history. Moore added a 9.725 to tie for fifth. Haberstock's 9.625 was good for seventh followed by
Sarah Knetzke's (Ozark, Mo./Springfield Catholic) routine that scored 9.6.
Farrah Hutcheson (Brighton, Mich./Brighton) rounded out the scoring five with a 9.575.
Three Warhawks shared bronze on the balance beam. Kollhoff, Hammond and Knetzke each scored 9.65 to lead UWW.
Ashnaya Gupta (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) (9.35) and Magel (9.1) capped the scoring combination for UW-Whitewater.
UWW will wrap up the regular season at home Saturday, March 2 against Gustavus Adolphus. The dual meet is slated to begin at 4 p.m. in Russell Arena.
