The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Wrestling fall to North Central College, 27-13 in a dual meet on Friday night.

Dominik Mallinder (Roselle, Ill./Lake Park) got things started for the Warhawks opening up the match with an 8-3 decision at the 133 class. The Cardinals had a tech fall at 141 pounds, but with a decision for Jalin Conner (Milwaukee, Wis./Bradley Tech) at 149 pounds, the Warhawks regained a 6-5 advantage on the team score. 

Luke Swan (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove South) picked up a major decision, with Bradyen Peet adding a regular decision for the Warhawks at the 157 pound and 165 weight class respectively. The Warhawks found themselves up 13-5 on the board after the first five bouts. 

In the second half of the night, North Central swung the momentum to their side, with a pin at 174. Two more decisions and two tech falls pushed the Cardinals back on top, taking home the dual meet 27-13. 

The Warhawk wrestlers are back on the mats at the MSOE Invite tomorrow, Saturday, December 7th.
