The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater wrestling team was dominant in four wins at the Comet Duals hosted by Olivet College. The Warhawks also sent a squad to compete in the CUW Open hosted by Concordia University Wisconsin Saturday. 

UW-Whitewater opened the Comet Duals with a 38-8 shutout over Mount Union. The Warhawks registered five extra point victories led by Garner Simmons' (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) fall over Jimir Fraizer in 6:12. 

UWW battled for a 24-9 win over Ohio Northern in the second dual of the day. Three bouts went into sudden victory with the Warhawks winning two.

UW-Whitewater followed with a 31-6 victory over Olivet before blanking Heidelberg 46-0. In the final match of the day, the Warhawks registered extra point victories in all but two bouts including one fall, six technical falls and a major decision. 

Lucio Morgan (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) led UWW at the CUW Open. He picked up four wins at 149 pounds but fell to Loras' Eric Kinkaid twice to finish fourth. Jalin Conner (Milwaukee, Wis./Bradley Tech) bounced back from falling in his second bout of the day at 149 pounds to win four straight and claim the consolation title in the bracket.
