The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team's run to the Final Four and NCAA Division III national championship game generated buzz throughout the state of Wisconsin during the month of March across social media platforms.

The team's journey in Pittsburgh included a community service opportunity, a trip to the first round of the NCAA Division I Men's Tournament, fan send-offs from the team hotel,
