Morgan McEntire (Indianapolis, Ind./Cathedral) of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater gymnastics team is featured in the latest edition of Getting To Know The Warhawks Presented by UW Credit Union.
 
McEntire was recently selected as an All-American in Academics by the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association. She helped the Warhawks reach next week's NCGA Championship for the 15th consecutive season by recording scores of 9.600 on vault and 9.225 on balance beam at the 2022 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship/NCGA West Regional on March 5. Her performance helped UW-W place second at the meet.
 
For the season, McEntire owns a season average score of 9.613 on vault and 9.075 on beam. She tallied career best scores of 9.625 on vault and 9.575 on beam.
 
During the shortened 2021 season, McEntire competed at three meets, averaging a 9.467 on vault and an 8.783 on uneven bars. She garnered WIAC Kwik Trip Specialist of the Week accolades and earned the team's Most Improved award.
 
In 2020, McEntire averaged a 9.375 on vault and an 8.619 on beam. She was part of a top-10 team score on vault during the season.
 
A two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and a two-time Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-American, McEntire is majoring in biology with emphasis in pre-biomedical professions. She is a seven-time member of the UW-Whitewater Dean's List and a three-year recipient of the Chancellor Scholars scholarship.
