The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team faces UW-Oshkosh in a pair of games this week, hosting the Titans Wednesday at 7 p.m. inside Kachel Gymnasium before traveling to Oshkosh Friday for a 7 p.m. tipoff.

The Warhawks claimed last season's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season championship, while UW-Oshkosh took home the WIAC Tournament title.
UW-Whitewater (2-0 overall, 2-0 WIAC) started its 2021 campaign with a pair of victories over UW-Stevens Point last week.
In the season opener at UW-SP on Wednesday,
Aleah Grundahl (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) tallied a game-high 23 points as the Warhawks held the Pointers to 30 percent shooting in a 61-50 win.
Veronica Kieres (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) contributed eight points for UW-W, which held a 40-22 advantage on points in the paint and a 21-3 margin in fast-break points.
Two days later, UW-Whitewater outscored UW-Stevens Point by 20 in the second half of a 64-50 triumph inside Kachel Gymansium.
Johanna Taylor (Wauwatosa, Wis./East) registered 14 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks, while Grundahl collected a game-high 16 points to go along with four rebounds and two steals.
UW-Oshkosh (1-1, 1-1) split a pair of games against UW-Platteville, with the visiting team claiming each win. The Titans fell 74-68 in Wednesday's opener before rebounding for an 81-64 win on Friday in Platteville.
Four players are averaging double figures in scoring through the first two games – Kennedy Osterman (12.5 ppg), Leah Porath (12.0), Karsyn Rueth (10.0) and Jenna Jorgensen (10.0). Julia Silloway leads UW-O in assists (7), and Abby Kaiser is the team's leader in steals (5).
Last season, the Warhawks rebounded from their lone WIAC loss with a 75-71 victory over the Titans in the final week to split the regular season series. Taylor and Grundahl combined for 35 points and 11 rebounds on 14-of-23 shooting in the win.
UW-Oshkosh claimed the third match-up between the two teams in the WIAC Tournament semifinal by an 81-65 score. Both teams went on to play in the NCAA Tournament.
