The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team closes the regular season this week with Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference crossover games against UW-Stout.

Friday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Kachel Gymnasium and is Senior Day for the Warhawks' two graduating seniors –
Emily Schumacher (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha South) and
Adriana Wood (Racine, Wis./Horlick). Both will be recognized in a pre-recorded ceremony to air during the UWW-TV broadcast of the game and to be shared on UW-W's social media channels following the game.
Friday's game will be broadcast live on UWW-TV on channel 989 for Spectrum customers in the Whitewater area, channel 100.1 on campus and
online. The contest will also air live on the radio on KIX 106.5 FM WKCH in the Whitewater area and online at

Last week, the Warhawks swept UW-Platteville to improve to 4-2 on the season and 4-2 in the WIAC.
Aleah Grundahl (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) poured in a career-high 25 points and added 10 rebounds to lead UW-Whitewater to a 71-68 overtime victory last Wednesday in Platteville.
Rebekah Schumacher (Whitewater, Wis./Whitewater) tallied 12 points, and
Maggie Trautsch (Sun Prairie, Wis./DeForest) posted 10 points for the Warhawks, who held the Pioneers to 33.3 percent shooting in the contest.
Two days later, UW-W hit 20-of-27 from the free-throw line and turned 14 offensive rebounds into 15 second-chance points on its way to a 64-53 win at Kachel Gymnasium. Grundahl recorded 22 points and six rebounds, and
Johanna Taylor (Wauwatosa, Wis./East) finished with her sixth career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
After two straight wins to open the season, UW-Stout (2-4, 2-4) has lost each of its last four games, including back-to-back setbacks against UW-La Crosse last week.
Four players average double figures in scoring for the Blue Devils, including leading scorer Tess Johnson, who is averaging 13.2 points per game and owns a team-high 18 steals. Anna Mutch (12.0 ppg) leads UW-Stout in rebounding (8.2 per game), and Liz Oswald (11.3 ppg) leads the Blue Devils in assists (14).
Last season, the Warhawks swept the season series between the two teams, allowing only 56 points in each contest. In the team's 2019-20 regular season finale, UW-W held UW-Stout to 28.4 percent shooting, and Grundahl, Schumacher and Taylor combined for 28 points in a 65-56 victory in Menomonie.
UW-Whitewater owns a 50-30 advantage in the all-time series between the two teams. The Warhawks are 25-12 against the Blue Devils under head coach
Keri Carollo, including a 15-3 mark at home.
