The No. 6 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's basketball team hosts No. 20 UW-La Crosse Wednesday at 7 p.m. for All-American Night and Purple Out Night at Kachel Gymnasium.
The first 150 fans in attendance to Wednesday's game will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of Warhawk Athletics. All fans are encouraged to wear purple.
In addition, UW-Whitewater's All-Americans from the 2018-19 winter, 2019 spring and 2019 fall seasons will be recognized during a halftime ceremony.

The Warhawks (16-2 overall, 6-1 WIAC) remained in first place in the conference standings following action last week, one game ahead of UW-La Crosse and UW-Eau Claire. They enter the week ranked sixth in the nation by D3hoops.com and ninth by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Johanna Taylor (Wauwatosa, Wis./East) paced the Warhawks' balanced scoring attack with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and seven blocks, and
Becky Raeder (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) contributed 12 points. UW-W shot 16-of-19 from the free-throw line in the second half to put the game out of reach.
UW-Whitewater's 14-game winning streak, which tied for the second-longest in program history, was snapped Saturday in a 62-51 setback at UW-Oshkosh.
Aleah Grundahl (DeForest, Wis./DeForest) tallied 12 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Warhawks, who were outscored 21-2 at the free-throw line in the contest.
In UW-W's first meeting against UW-La Crosse this season back on Jan. 15, the Warhawks held the Eagles to 29.0 percent shooting from the floor and broke open a close game with a 20-10 second-quarter advantage in a 66-52 victory. Taylor recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, Raeder finished with 14 points and four assists, and
Abby Belschner (Grafton, Wis./Cedarburg) collected 10 points and eight rebounds.
UW-La Crosse (14-4, 5-2) has won its last three meetings since that game, including a 60-39 home win against UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. Ava Kramer posted 16 points to lead the Eagles, who held the Blugolds to only 12 made field goals and 22.2 percent shooting for the contest.
UW-L leads the conference in both 3-point field goals made (137 / 7.61 per game) and 3-point field goal percentage (33.4 percent). Dani Craig and Emma Gamoke lead the Eagles in scoring at 12.4 and 10.4 points per game, respectively.
